Cromer: looking east. Oils on canvas

Evening Walk.

The sunsets in Cromer are spectacular. The beach floods with the shifting light of the sky. Look west and you see the sun set low over the ocean, hovering like a golden orb on that thin line, the rays reaching into the ripples like a golden walk way. Its so beautiful you catch your breath and you think nothing can be more so – until you turn and look east.The reflected light has transformed the sky into pastel pinks and baby blues, softening into the sand and so you walk amidst this other-worldly scene, becoming part of this ethereal canvas.

This blog is about all things Cromer – my aim is to make it a touchstone for those of you who love it and want to know more: whether you are a visitor, a resident or simply hold a piece of Cromer in your heart.
